Travel
Manchester Central (formerly known as G-Mex) has its own parking facilities on site (Lower Moseley Street) as well as a new multi-storey car park alongside. There are several other car parks in the immediate area (see map) and the City has installed an electronic display system indicating where spaces are available.
By Road
From the South
Exit junction 19 of the M6 and follow signs to the M56. The M56 becomes the A5103. Follow city centre signs. At the end of the road, go straight over the roundabout, following signs for "Petersfield" onto Medlock Street. Follow through the lights onto Lower Moseley Street. Manchester Central is on your left.
From the North
From the M6, join the M61 at Preston. At the end of the M61, the motorway leads onto the M60, follow signs for M60 South and West towards The Trafford Centre. Continue onto the M602 and follow signs for the city centre and Petersfield onto the A57. Turn left into Water Street and then left onto the A56 Deansgate, then turn right onto Peter Street, under the tunnel, then turn left and you are at Manchester Central.

Park and Ride
Access into Manchester is easier if you use one of the many Park and Ride schemes. It is the ideal way to plan a quick, easy journey into the city centre. Parking is free at local rail stations and Metrolink tram stops in Greater Manchester so the only cost is the fare. In many instances the cost of your ticket will be less than your normal parking charges too!

By rail
Manchester has direct rail connections to all major UK cities – London is just over two hours away by train. Services come into the city at either Piccadilly or Victoria station, both of which connect to Manchester’s Metrolink light-rail system which provides easy access to all parts of the city centre.
Take the Metrolink from either Piccadilly or Victoria (in the Altrincham or Eccles direction) and alight at St Peter’s Square, which is within a 5-minute walk of Manchester Central. You can also take advantage of the free Metroshuttle bus that travels between the two stations across the city centre.
Air

Metrolink and Taxis
The extensive Metrolink tram service covers the city centre and areas of Greater Manchester.
To reach the venue follow signs for Metrolink from either Piccadilly or Victoria, purchase a City Zone ticket on the platform (£0.80 single or £1.20 return) and take a tram heading for Altrincham or Eccles alighting at St Peter’s Square. The venue is then a 5-minute walk away behind the Midland Hotel. You can also take advantage of the free Metroshuttle bus that travels across the city centre.
